In the heart of Differdange in the Arboria area on the Plateau du Funiculaire, Opkorn will offer a shopping centre worthy of the country's 3rd largest town, with services it has lacked until now.

The shopping centre will house an Auchan department store, 27 boutiques, 3 kiosks and 5 restaurants with terraces.

Its identity is deeply rooted in the local life, as Opkorn literally means "on the Chiers". The Chiers is the watercourse that originates in Oberkorn, flowing behind the shopping centre (through the Chiers park) and continues over the border.

The building's architecture is also true to its local heritage. Architect Stefano Moreno's tribute to the steel industry: the façade is clad with metal framing that blends into the surroundings perfectly. These surroundings are in full revival, notably with the residential Arboria area, the European school and the new town entrance.
