C2 and C3 win at Bauhärepräis 2012!

27. June 2012

Every four years, the Luxembourg OAI (Order of Architects and Consulting Engineers) organises the Bauhärepräis, a coveted architecture award given to the top architectural projects in the country. Of the 224 projects presented this year, our C2 and C3 buildings won the award in the "administrative/workplace building" category.

These two buildings in the Cubus complex (which totals three buildings) distinguish themselves with their cube-like lines and black façades, enhanced by the bright colours of the entrances and balconies. C2 and C3 are also the first private buildings in Luxembourg to be BREEAM certified. This British quality label is a benchmark for durable construction.

The judging panel was composed of political, cultural and architectural personalities from the Greater Region. They particularly hailed the "fact that the building's volumes are highlighted" and "the great flexibility of layout and use." Watch the Cubus film submitted for the competition.

Two companies moving into Cubus this weekend

30. March 2012

It is all go at Howald this weekend! Bonn Steichen & Partners law firm will be moving into building C2, while Scandinavian financial group SEB will take possession of its new offices in C3.

Both companies have praised the Cubus office complex for its ease of access, both from the motorway and the airport, ease of parking, flexibility of interior layout and the buildings' strong architecture. These lessees are more used to being in the centre of town, but chose to move further out because of Cubus' excellent image and services.
